Based off a 1995 manga of the same name by George Iida (飯田 譲治) and published by Takeshobo (竹書房).  The ending is an open ended plot twist.  Mature audiences (at least episode 1).

Introduction to the Double-oh and conclusion of the series.  A little less substance and humanity is shown when compared to War in the Pocket but it stays true to a few of the common themes; even if there isn't as dynamic character growth as in the slower paced predecessors such as After War.
